Accelerated Reader is a computerized motivational reading program designed to encourage students to read books from a variety of interests. Students choose their own books and read at their own pace. Points are awarded based on "quizzes" taken about the book(s) read. Pictures of the students are displayed outside the library as different point levels are achieved. The program’s reports give both teachers and students immediate feedback about individual reading progress and provide reinforcement in a way that is both motivational and fun. The levels listed are organized alphabetically by TITLE.
